On Sunday October 4, 2009, the Monroe Volunteer Firefighters Inc. will be hosting their annual pancake breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 am till 1:00pm. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, milk, juice, coffee and cheese. This meals in all you can eat. Adult tickets are $6.00 and Children 4 - 12 are $3.00. After breakfast feel free to take a ride around town in a fire truck. There will be a silent auction held also. Every 50th Adult gets a free breakfast. Come down to the fire station for a great breakfast and kick off Fire Prevention Week.
