With all the recent snow falls, the Monroe Fire Department is asking for your assistance. The fire hydrants around the city have been covered up with all the snow from the roads and side walks. We are asking citizens to shovel the hydrants out. By shoveling the hydrants out, it make the deparetments job easier when responding to an emergency. We ask that the hydrants is shoveled out with at least a five foot circle around it. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the department office at 329-2575.
