Car Destroyed After Fire - 03.05.2009
On March 5, 2009, the Monroe Fire Department was alerted to Forest Prairie Park for the report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found the engine compartment fully involved and starting to burn the passenger compartment. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the vehicle was destroyed. There were no injuries reported and crews remained on scene for roughly 45 minutes.
