Car Side Swipes Semi - 08.28.2008
On August 28 2008 at 6:45 AM the Monroe Fire Department along with Green County EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident at Hwy 69 and County Road B. Upon arrival, crews found a car that struck the rear tires of a semi trailer. All people involved were out of the vehicles walking around. One subject was transported to Monroe Clinic for evaluation of their injuries. During the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle traveling northbound crossed the center line and struck the rear tires of the semi trailer. Traffic was restricted to one lane. Crews remained on scene for 1 1/2 hours.
