City Crews Hit Gas Line - 06.26.2008
On June 26, 2008 at 9:49 am, the Monroe Fire Department was alerted for a gas leak in the 900 block of 25th St. Upon arrival, crews found that a City Backhoe had struck a gas line while replacing a storm sewer cover. The gas line was secured by WE Energies. Crews remained on scene for an hour.
