Car Accident Shuts Down Hwy 69 - 02.14.2008
On February 14, 2008, the Monroe Fire Department along with Green County EMS were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Hwy 69. Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles in the middle of the intersection. One vehicle with front end damage and the other with rear drivers side damage. One subject was treated and taken to Monroe Clinic ER for further evaluation of injuries. It was determined that one of the drivers failed to yeild the right of way causing the accident. The road was shut down for roughly 45 minutes.
