Icy Roads Cause Roll-Over - 12.23.2007
On the cold and early morning of December 23, the Monroe Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to a one vehicle rollover accident in the 5900 of Hwy 11. During the evening hours, a winter storm had brought freezing rain and high wind to the area causing troubles on the road way. Upon arrival, crews found the driver of the vehicle to be inside yet and the vehicle on the drivers side. The driver had minor injuries, but needed help getting out of the vehicle. The driver was evaluated the transported to Monroe Clinic. Crews remained on scene for 45 minutes.
