2 Car MVA Sends 3 to Hospital - 09.15.2007
On Saturday September 15, 2007. the Monroe Fire Department and Green County EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 2000 block of 7th ST. Crews found a vehicle that was was struck in the rear passenger side, spun around and then collided with steps leading to the side walk. Three subjects from the one vehicle were out of the vehicle and sitting on the curb. The air bags did deploy and there was smoke in teh engine compartment caused by engine fluid leak. The three injured subjects were transported to Monroe Clinic for further evaluation, while teh other driver refused medical treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Monroe Police Department.
