Barn Totally Distroyed - 07.21.2007
The Monroe Fire Department was alerted to the 6900 block of Cty P at 10:52 pm for the report of a barn fire. While crews were leaving the city limits, flames could be scene in the air. At that put a MABAS box was activiated to the second level. Upon arrival, crews found the barn to be totally engulfed and the roof had already collasped. Fuel barrels and buildings were protected. Seven surrounding departments assisted with teh activation of the MABAS alert. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time by the Monroe Fire Department. Crews remained on scene for 3 hours. NO one was injured and the barn was a total loss.
