Four Transported to Hospital after Collision - 12.12.2006
On Tuesday December 12, 2006, the Monroe Fire Department along with Green County EMS were alerted for a two vehicle accident at Haddinger Road and Cty P. Upon arrival, crews found a van, that was transporting multiple people, had struck a Jeep on the drivers side. Everyone was able to get out of the vehicles with out extrication. Four people were transported to Monroe Clinic by two Green County EMS ambulances and Argyle EMS. It was determined that the driver of the Jeep was talking on the cell phone and failed to stop for the stop sign. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Crews remained on scene for 1.5 hours.
