Car Fire Suspicious - 09.17.2006
On September 17, 2006 at 0303 hours, the Monroe Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 1600 block of 19th St. Upon arrival crews found a vehicle with flames coming in the passenger compartment. There was no one around at the time of the fire and initial attack crews determined that there was no one inside the vehicle. The fire was primarily contained to the passenger compartment with extension into the trunk. The cause isunder investigation by the Monroe Fire Department as well as the Monroe Police Department.
