On May 6, 2011, the Monroe Fire Department was alerted to the 1600 of 4th Avenue West fo the report of a dumpster fire.  Upon arrival, crews found a dumpster with construction material on fire.  The fire was contacined to the dumpster and nothing else was damaged.
